This is based off an amazing blog post by Rachel @rainylune, who had a member of the Instagram Partnerships team explain what to do to grow her account. If you missed part 1, go back and check that out.

The key thing Rachel was told was to use ALL the features of Instagram – including Going Live, IGTV, Story Stickers, Shoppable posts, filters, geolocation tagging, and the rest.

According to the Instagram rep, here’s the amount of content you should be producing across the platform on a regular basis:

• 3 feed posts per week (Reels & IGTV posted to feed DO count!)
• 8-10 stories per week, preferably 2+ per day
• 4-7 reels per week
• 1-3 IGTV a week

For most people, that’s very unrealistic.

However, the Instagram rep explained that it’s most important to be consistent over time. Publish your posts consistently at the same time (during your follower’s peak times of being on the app), and the algorithm will reward that pattern of consistency.
